Advocacy: The Art of Strategic Communication

Unleash the Power of Civil Society Advocacy

In the last 20 years, the number of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) has exploded throughout the world. Civil society actors are engaged, directly or indirectly, in political decision-making processes on a wide range of issues from natural species protection to defence issues. Whether operating locally or internationally, this sector has become a key partner for most governments.

In this course, you will learn how to become a more powerful advocate for the issues you represent, gaining new skills to help you become a more active element in modern politics. The goal of this two-day learning experience is to fully understand how positive synergy between civil society and governments can be instrumental in shaping policy.
