Understand the Impact of Disruptive Technologies on the Future of War

New technologies emerge on all fronts; many are seen as breakthroughs. But not all new technologies will alter how wars are fought. The course provides an overview and analysis of current and future technologies that will have a transformative impact on warfare and international security. They include: artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, bioelectronics, synthetic biology, genomics, big data and cyberwarfare.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is designed for government and international organisation officials as well as members of the military who are in charge of strategy, security and defence policy planning and intelligence. It is also relevant to journalists, engineers, corporate leaders and people working in research and development, notably in the defence industry.

Costs

CHF 1'000. Apply two months before the course start date to qualify for a 15% discount. Alumni qualify for a 20% discount. Certain circumstances are eligible for scholarships.
