This course examines the security implications of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and block chain technology. The course also covers non-traditional issues such as health security and efforts to prevent of violent extremism.

Given the growing importance of anticipating emerging challenges, the course also covers the basics of strategic foresight and associated methodologies.
