Risk and Resilience in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Accidents and Terrorist Attacks

Anticipating and Addressing Hazards Involving CBRN Material

In Moldova over the past five years, collaboration between local police and Interpol have thwarted four attempts by smugglers to sell nuclear material to extremists in the Middle East. While these attempts failed in the end, the scenario of terrorists armed with weapons of mass destruction is no longer just theoretical. This four and a half day course provides you with the analytical tools to deal with terrorist attacks and accidents involving chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) material.

Who Should Attend

This course is primarily aimed at people in charge of dealing with terrorism at both the operational and strategic levels in governments and government-affiliated institutions, international organisations or multinational companies. Thus, the target audience is composed of terrorism analysts, policy advisors, chief security officers, directors of security, chiefs of emergency interventions and military officers in charge of CBRN protection. It could also be of interests to journalists and more broadly to people in charge of security policy.
