The event was a side event to the 69th World Health Assembly (WHA) and provided a platform for discussion on the key issues in global health R&D.
It offered insight on what is at stake during the 69th WHA, including ensuring sustainable R&D to support the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, tackling antimicrobial resistance, responding to emerging infectious diseases, and how the current WHO and United Nations Secretary-General processes are likely to impact R&D and innovation models.
It brought together more than 100 participants at the venue in addition to those participating though video broadcast.The recording of the discussion is available here.
