GCSP held a day-long conference entitled "Le Moment Terroriste: Anciennes Menaces, Nouveaux Enjeux et Mutations". The conference was co-organised by GCSP, Foundation GIPRI, Prochetmoyen-orient.ch and ICAM.
The discussion focused on the current dynamics and patterns of terrorism in both historical and international contexts. Throughout the conference, speakers elaborated on the complexity of conflict, the nature of current threats and the evolution evolution of what is at stake.
GCSP Fellows, including Mr Jean-Paul Rouiller, Mr Xavier Colin, and Mr Karim Emile Bitar also attended, alongside GCSP Deputy Director, Prof. Mohammad-Mahmoud Ould Mohamedou, to provide their insights.
The Swiss news outlet Tribune de Genève released an article summarising the main points of the event. "These people didn't come out of nowhere. They have acquired skills in operational communication", stated Mr Rouiller.
