The Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs are pleased to invite you to an event entitled, "The Use of Artificial Intelligence and the Defence Industry: Legal, Ethical, Strategic and Governance Issues.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is disrupting entire sectors of industries, the defence industry is no exception to this. This roundtable will look
at the ethical, legal, strategic and governance issues related to the use of AI in and by the defence industry. Although the core of the
discussion will focus on the defence industry and the development of autonomous weapons, broader uses of AI in security related
applications such as intelligence, surveillance or cybersecurity will also be discussed.
