Global Leadership Fellow at World Economic Forum
Gilles Fuchs has 17 years of experience in business transformation, strategic growth and leadership for change. He held several roles with global investment and asset management companies like Fidelity Investment, Merrill Lynch and UBS. In particular, he experienced the unfolding of the global financial crisis and designed adaptive responses from New-York, where he was based for 5 years.
Recently at the World Economic Forum, Gilles worked on creating multi-stakeholder partnerships and collaborative business engagement processes. He focused on a broad set of European countries, industry sectors and governmental organizations.
In collaboration with public officials and local leaders, he examines the area of interaction between society at large and the private sector to develop visions for growth that leverage anticipations on global trends, on the rapid evolution of technologies and that allows for dynamic sharing of best practices at city level.
Gilles holds an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, an engineer degree from French-school IIE and several investment diplomas. He is also a Global Leadership Fellow.
Born in 1976 in France, Gilles is French and Luxembourg national and speaks French, English and German.
