Ms Misha Nagelmackers-Voinov

Former member of the leadership of BCGE

Ms Misha Nagelmackers-Voinov started her career with Credit Suisse in Zurich and subsequently took on responsibilities within the Group in Lausanne, Paris and New York. She then worked for Royal Dutch Shell in London as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility change program before switching to South African conglomerate Anglo American plc in London as their Head of Media and Financial Communications. Shortly after the birth of her third son, she joined BCGE, the Geneva state bank (CH). Amongst her responsibilities with BCGE's leadership team, she contributed to the adoption of the bank's first Ethical Charter.

Misha has published a number of papers on financial related issues including a thesis on a Swiss-German tax negotiation "Double Trouble in Double-Level Diplomacy" (2014) as part her completion of an Executive Master in International Negotiation and Policy-Making at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She previously studied Journalism and Media Law at the Fribourg University.

She has held teaching positions at the Institut Supérieur de Formation Bancaire (ISFB) and has been engaged in volunteer initiatives to promote access to education for girls in developing countries as well as in microfinance. Her areas of interest include privacy rights, international relations, philanthropy and strategic leadership.

Misha is a member of Woodz Public Affairs where she focuses on stakeholder relations and financial communication. She speaks French, English and German and is based in Geneva.
