Graduate Student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service Program at Georgetown University
Patrick Zimet is currently a graduate student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service program at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. His academic concentration is global politics and security, with an emphasis on the nexus of diplomacy and conflict resolution, as well as disarmament and counterterrorism. Mr Zimet received his B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University. Before joining GCSP, he worked for a U.S. congressman and a U.S. senate campaign. He spent time with the International Department of BRAC, an international NGO in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he worked on grant opportunities for education, microfinance, and health projects. Additionally, Mr Zimet served in the Peace Corps for over three years as a primary school teacher on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia.
