Raheek Ador is a Swiss-Palestinian national with broad experience from various departments in the United Nations, namely communications, resource mobilisations and program management. Between 2002-2005 she worked as the Public Information Officer with the United Nations World Food Programme. After this she started working with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through their Representative Office in Jerusalem, as Portfolio Manager dealing with refugees, negotiations, gender and cultural projects.
In 2010 Raheek moved to Geneva to work with Avocats Ador & Associes, a private Swiss law firm, as Head of the Social Corporate Responsibility Department, then joined The United Nations Work and Relief Agency (UNWRA) where she has been responsible for Public Private Partnerships, working closely with the Swiss private sector, and helping setting up a Swiss NatCom to raise awareness, and funds, for the enhancement of Palestine refugees' status.
Raheek holds BA in Humanities, MA in Political Sciences from King's College London, and an MBA from the University of Geneva. She sits on boards of different Swiss NGOs and charities aiming at enhancing socioeconomic and educational status of women in the Arab world. She is fluent in Arabic, English, French and Hebrew.
Raheek lives in Geneva with her husband and son.
