Chair and Co-Founder, Global Future
Dr Campioni is a public health expert with specific experience in foresight and long-term thinking for decision-makers. Her working experience is in supporting and informing strategies, planning and policy development in times of transition. Dr Campioni is the Chair of the Board and co-founder of Global Future, a small NGO focusing on advocating the future thinking and foresight across institutions. Former Senior Advisor to the executive director at UNAIDS, building global and regional scenarios for decision-making. She is also partner at Scenario Development a boutique consultancy focusing on scenario building. Dr Campioni has 15 years of progressively senior positions as high level senior advisor at UN, working and partnering with Government agencies, NGOs, Academia and the private sector. She enjoys leading strategic dialogues providing guidance for policy development, strategies and operational plans. She also enjoys teaching, is occasional lecturer at SDA Bocconi University as part of the Global Health Masters Degree “Managing Global Health Challenges”, and writes: she is the co-editor of a book on a novel approach to information use “Rwanda Fast Forward: Social, Economic, Military and Reconciliation” Palgrave MacMillan ed. Dr Campioni’s academic background is from the London School of economics, The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in Health Policy, planning and financing and the University College London in Neuroscience, ageing and decision-making.
