Enrico Carisch is a founding Partner of CCSI (Compliance and Capacity Skills International, L.L.C) an advisory group of former UN sanctions experts, conflict resolution practitioners and designers of national capacity building projects. CCSI conducts field-research, publishes regularly on sanctions policies and practices, provides sanctions trainings and develops implementation capacity enhancement tools for States, international organizations and the private sector. CCSI is the initiator and manager of the High Level Review of UN Sanctions and the follow-on program, the HLR-Assessment.
Carisch has served in many Security Council-mandated sanctions groups as a financial expert and coordinator. European and Central African governments, their regional organizations as well international civil societies have engaged him to conduct field research and device institutional responses that enhance and protect formal and informal extractive industries against entanglements with armed conflicts or organized crime.
