Sumon Sadhu is an investor and entrepreneur, with a background in investing, analyzing and starting disruptive technology companies. He is currently the CEO of muse.ai which is building software to allow analysts to search petabytes of video within seconds.
Previously he was part of the founding team, and Director of Intelligence of Quid where he led many engagements with the world's largest organizations including Samsung, Microsoft, Intel, Barclays, the US Government, analyzing the impact of technologies ranging from Synthetic Biology to Cloud Computing.
He is also an internationally focused angel investor. He has invested in companies like Framed Data (acquired by Square), URX (acquired by Pinterest), ClearTax, Zesty, Benchling and across multiple continents. Sumon has co-invested alongside the world's leading venture capital firms including Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, Accel Partners, and Y Combinator and is a venture partner at LocalGlobe VC in London. Sumon holds an MBiochem from Oxford University and studied for a PhD in Infectious Disease at Imperial College London where he was a Wellcome Trust Scholar.
