Associate Fellow Alexandre Vautravers Reviews Upcoming Swiss Vote on the Intelligence Service Act

GCSP Associate Fellow Professor Alexandre Vautravers examined the potential Intelligence Service Act, up for a referendum vote in Switzerland on 25 September.

Prof Vautravers told Sputnik that the law is more precise and surgical than a similar French law, as it only applies in four cases: terrorism, prohibited activities of foreign intelligence services, trafficking of weapons, or cyber attacks. The act would build on the Swiss Federal Internal Security Measures Act (LMSI).
