During the 2017 “Cyber 9/12 Student Challenge, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) welcomed 24 teams from Europe, North America and Asia.
In between rounds of competitions at the “Cyber 9712 Student Challenge”, GCSP editors had the opportunity to interview a number of teams including “Team H1gh F0ur”, four young women who represented Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia.
Three of the four team members, Moira Nguegaum, Heleen Maibak and Sille Laks, shared their experience in competing in a Cyber Challenge for the first time, opportunities for women in cyber security and their advice to future teams. Their parting words of advice for future teams? Send more women next year.
