GCSP Fellows and Deputy Director speak at Swiss conference on Terrorism

On 9 November, GCSP Fellows Jean-Paul Rouiller and Xavier Colin, along with GCSP's Deputy Director and Academic Dean, Prof. Mohammad-Mahmoud Ould Mohamedou, contributed to a conference on “Terrorism, Intelligence and Risk Anticipation: Lessons from 15 Years of War against Terrorism”, held at the Collège de l’Abbaye in Saint-Maurice, Switzerland.

Mr Rouiller and Prof. Mohamedou delivered lectures on the topic, which were followed by a debate with the audience chaired by Mr Colin.

The discussion covered the evolution of terrorism since the beginning of this century, the mutation of the threats and the type of responses that have been developed in terms of counter-terrorism policies and beyond.

The conference was the 22nd Meeting of Saint-Maurice.
