GCSP and Partners Launch a New ATT Guide

On 23 August 2016, on the occasion of the Second Conference of States Parties of the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), the ATT Network launched "The Arms Trade Treaty: A Practical Guide to National Implementation."

At the launch of the guide, GCSP Senior Programme Adviser and Arms Proliferation Cluster Responsable Mr Marc Finaud recalled the origins of the project and the efforts made so far to build capacities for effective implementation of the Treaty.

The guide was edited by Sarah Parker, from Small Arms Survey, and made possible by financial support from the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. The guide is designed to assist and inform those responsible for implementing the ATT on a national level, providing practical guidance.

The ATT Network consists of the GCSP, the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding, the Small Arms Survey and the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research
