Deputy Director & Member of the Senior Executive Team

You will have the primary mission to develop our global presence, as well as the activities with/for our non-traditional partners, especially in the private sector. In close cooperation with the leaders of the organization, you will drive the further expansion of the Centre’s executive education portfolio. In addition, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support and contribute to the elaboration of our vision and the development and execution of its strategy with respect to the growth mission.
  • Implement change management and organizational development initiatives that support the implementation of GCSP’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand strategic partnerships and client relationships with govern­mental, international organizations, NGOs, and corporate entities.
  • Foster and implement a spirit of entrepreneurship in programs, to maximize internal and external resources, identify niches, and pursue opportunities.

In addition, you will provide strategic direction to our Programmes Heads in line with the organization’s wider mission and strategic priorities.

You will have the following skills and competences:

  • A doctorate / PhD or a post-graduate degree in a field relevant to our area of interest and competence.
  • At least fifteen years of progressively more responsible relevant professional thematic/ specialist experience and professional functional experience.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures (organizational and national).
  • Experience in executive education, program and course curriculum design, implementation, and delivery within a professional and adult learning environment (such as leading business schools, or corporate universities).
  • Passion for international affairs and willingness to make a difference in a turbulent and fast moving world.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of French, German and any other UN official language would be an asset.
  • Highly experienced in relationship building and program development with a variety of corporate and governmental partners.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and talent.
  • Agile and flexible mindset.
