Junior Programme Officer - Videographer / Video Editor

100% - one year contract


You will work proactively as part of the Resource Mobilisation and Marketing Department, and you will be in charge of the following responsibilities:

  • Shoot and create compelling online videos at a high frequency: the RMM team produces videos on a weekly basis,
  • Pitch video concepts and shoot videos on a daily basis based on the organization’s cycle, trending topics and the events calendar,
  • Innovate, experiment, and learn: work with our team to make videos more impactful,
  • Assist with the production of GCSP’s videos,
  • Edit footages : manipulate and edit footage, add titles, text, music, graphs or optical effects,
  • Export and upload video to social media platforms such as websites, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.


In addition, you will contribute to GCSP’s mission and goals in an impartial and inclusive manner by fostering a stimulating multi-cultural learning environment

You will have the following skills and competences:

  • A Bachelor or Master’s level or equivalent from a video-related school
  • Competence in using Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premier Pro
  • Proficiency with graphics and motion graphics (knowledge of programs such as Photoshop, After Effects/Motion) is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in video shooting / editing
  • Understanding of current trends in online video and social media
  • Agility and ability to react quickly and accurately when faced with tight deadlines
  • Team player
  • Excellent written and spoken English and French
