Covid-19 Crisis: Global Crisis, Global Risk and Global Consequences is a new webinar series that examines various possible and visible consequences of the current crisis including its strategic and economic implications, impact on global governance, gender or the role of technology.
The webinar is free and conducted in English. The first webinar session will provide an overview of the strategic, global health security, crisis management, governance, economic and financial implications of this crisis.
2020, the year of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day was hoped to be a year of courageous decisions taken during several international conferences and negotiations. Instead, resources and focus have been transferred to dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. What does this mean for the future of environmental action? How does the current emergency impact environment? What can we learn from this experience? What will be the new “business as usual” when the pandemics subside? Are we ready for future emergencies linked to the environment? In this webinar, we are going to provide you with an analysis of the links between the environment and COVID-19.
