Mr. Grégoire Patte has experience in political affairs and international relations with an emphasis on peace and security issues including in terrorism, insurgency and political violence analysis. He worked in governmental institutions, UN peacekeeping mission, research institutes and consulting firms. He first served as a Ministry coworker at the French Military Intelligence Directorate within the Geographic Analysis Section, detached at the Operation Centre. He supported the mapping production for the conduct and follow-up of military operations. He then joined the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research, in Singapore, and led the Middle East and North Africa analysis team, where he coordinated and led research projects and trainings on terrorism and insurgency trends for senior civilian and military officers. In addition, Grégoire has worked for the Geneva Centre for Training and Analysis of Terrorism and Expect Consulting as Senior Threat Analyst focusing on terrorist and armed groups in the Sahel region, before joining the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) as Political Affairs Officer at the regional office in Gao and then as Mission Planning Officer, within the Strategic Planning Unit in Bamako. Grégoire is graduated in Geography from the Paris Sorbonne University. Additionally, he holds a MBA in Business Intelligence and European Affairs from the ISC Paris School of Management. He is a French national currently based in Geneva.
