We provide a wide variety of 60+ courses and also works bilaterally with partners to develop tailor-made and demand-driven projects.
We are uniquely positioned to serve the current and next generations of policy- and decision-makers in governments, international organisations, and non-profits as well as the private sector. We bring together outstanding participants with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds from all over the globe as well as renowned faculty members and guest lecturers who combine theoretical expertise and practical experience.
We work together with governments, international organisations, private companies and civil society organisations to develop customised courses that are adapted to our partners' needs.
We have developed a specific approach to training, which applies to all our courses, in order to contribute to the professional development of our participants.
One of the main aspects of our approach is to focus on practical exercises and skills development where the goal is to enhance participants’ skills in analysing, organising and presenting information, proposals, and policy recommendations. For example, an extensive simulation of a post-conflict state is systematically employed in our Swiss Peacebuilding Training Course.
Over the course of the past few years, we have created a number of such courses – country and/or issue-specific – in Geneva and abroad, for example:
High-level seminar in Bangkok
Introducing participants to political systems, and dedicating sessions on building democratic institutions, national dialogue, security sector reform, rule of law, and human rights
Democratisation and Good Governance
5th Edition of Training Course for Afghan Diplomats takes place in Baku
The 9th edition of GCSP's training programme for staff of the United Nations Department of Political Affairs (DPA).
