Support, growth and development are essential for all leaders, but gendered differences create unique opportunities and challenges for women, particularly in the field of peace and security. This course provides the mindsets and skills to succeed, and creates a platform where you can engage with a rich and diverse network of peers and mentors.
This course is run with the WPSI-KAIPTC and the GCSP, both of whom have a mission to promote and maintain peace and security through professional training and executive education and related activities. The KAIPTC and the GCSP are also seeking to support a community of women leaders and advance the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
The course will be based on leading edge research and resources developed by The Geneva Leadership Alliance, a first of its kind partnership that brings together in-depth understanding of peace security and policy issues at the GCSP, with 40 years of research and expertise developing leaders through the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).
WPSI-KAIPTC advocates for increased participation of women in all components of the peace and security eco-system. It does this thorough capacity building, research, networking and documentation of success stories. Thus this collaboration with the GCSP-CCL enables it to offer participants an opportunity to be exposed to practical skills to enable them build their leadership space.
