Media and Arts for Peace

Creativity, storytelling, strategy

In this ever changing and complex world, it is always time for creative solutions and divergent thinking. Media and Arts for Peace (MAP) is an online, self-paced course designed and delivered in partnership with United States Institute for Peace (USIP).
This course offers a uniquely immersive environment at the intersection of media and arts, in order to explore their impact on peace. You will learn how these various media have been engaged in enriching public discourse, highlighting civic responsibility and social justice, and telling the stories behind every conflict – stories that can be used to either dehumanize or humanize a conflict and the people behind it.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The MAP course is designed for professionals who operate in situations where peace is, or has been, threatened, including peacebuilding scholars, civil society actors, media practitioners and artists.
