Part of the new GCSP event series 'Security and Law: A Policy Dialogue'

The Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) in partnership with Geneva for Human Rights (GHR) invites you to a Workshop on Enforced Disappearances, covering pressing challenges related to enforced disappearances and the respective human rights mechanisms.

The Workshop will open with the statements of H.E. Ambassador Marcelo Cima, Permanent Representative of the Argentine Republic to the United Nations Office in Geneva, and H.E. Ambassador Elisabeth Laurin, Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations Office in Geneva.

Mr Santiago Corcuera Cabezut, Chairman of the Committee on Enforced Disappearances and former Chairman of the Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances at the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights, will deliver a key-note address.

Mr Adrien-Claude Zoller, President of GHR, and Mr Tobias Vestner, Leader of the GCSP's Security and Law Thematic Cluster, will lead the Workshop.

The Workshop is open to all who are involved in the implementation of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.
