Founder, iMask Intelligence
John H. Austin, Jr. spent over two decades with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. He was an Assistant Special Agent in Charge, managing complex cases with national security implications. At the DEA Mr Austin brought a wealth of real-world experience to investigations and prosecution of domestic and transnational crime.
Mr Austin has since brought his singular expertise and relations to the private sector, where he is Founder of iMask Intelligence, a risk management firm comprised of a team of former U.S. federal agents. His iMask team of investigators apply a risk lens to corporate strategies in a range of services, including background screening, business intelligence, opposition research and confidential surveillance.
Mr Austin earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. He also holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Temple University.
