Deputy Director & Senior Curator, Museum Rietberg, Zurich
Graduating from the Universities of Lausanne and Paris, Johannes Beltz joined in 1999 the South Asia Institute in Heidelberg. As a research associate he worked on socio-religious reform movements in India before he joined in 2001 the Museum Rietberg. In 2006 he was appointed as curator of South and South East Asian art. Today he is Head of the Curatorial Department and Deputy Director. In addition to his museum position, he teaches regularly on Buddhism and Hinduism at the University of Zurich.
