Results-based Management Systems Advisor, GICHD
Gosia Loj joined the GICHD in April 2016. As the Results-based Management Systems Advisor, she is responsible for overseeing the Results-based Management implementation process and serves as an advisor to the Results-based Management Steering Committee. She coordinates the work of the relevant working groups and project managers, steering and ensuring the progress in terms of both the substance and the process.
Prior to joining the GICHD, Gosia Loj worked as a consultant in a number of international organisations, including WIPO, WTO, ICRC, NATO where she supported various Results-based Management and programme management work streams. She also worked at the European Commission (DG Agriculture and Rural Development) where she was involved in bilateral agricultural market access negotiations with the Americas. Before starting her career in international organisations, she lived in Latin America where she worked as a Consultant at PwC, Chile, in Transaction Services, as Programme Officer at a micro-finance NGO in Argentina and led an evaluation of the Pacification Reform in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as part of the Chance2sustain project under the European Commission 7th Framework Programme.
Gosia Loj holds a MSc in International Development Studies with a specialisation in Economic Development in Latin America (University of Amsterdam, Netherlands) and a BSc (Hons) in Politics with Economics (University of Bath, UK). She has a Certificate in Qualitative Research Techniques from the Graduate School of Social Sciences, University of Amsterdam and a Certificate in Design, Monitoring and Evaluation training workshop jointly run by the GCSP, DCAF, SAS, GICHD and IPDET.
