Founder and CEO of OAM Consult
Mr. Olivier Mukarji is the CEO of OAM Consult, a Denmark based consultancy firm that provides advisory services to clients in the nexus of public and private partnerships that promote economic development in areas affected by cross border conflict drivers such as climate change and migration. Olivier has recently supported the UN in the development of a resource and partnership strategy in Namibia and Swaziland with a focus on public private partnership and inclusive green growth models.
He is currently supporting World Bank and the African Union in developing the response and prevention capacity of the African Union Defense and Security Department to engage with emerging stabilization challenges at the national and regional levels. This includes the development of targeted guidance and trainings to build capacities of African Union actors involved in regional peace and security initiatives. His areas of interest include the strengthening of data collection and analysis of cross border and regional socio economic and security dynamics through the integration of a rights based approach.
As a Fellow at the Leiden University Humanity X Initiative he supports efforts to identify innovative big data tools to strengthen conflict analysis methodologies and approaches and organizational development. He is also a board member of AISEC International, a global youth organization, helping them on how to leverage private and public partnerships to advance youth employment in subsaharan Africa and the Middle East.
