Dr. Christina Schori Liang addresses participants at the NATO Defense College

Dr. Christina Schori Liang, Leader of the Terrorism and Organised Cluster recently addressed the Senior Level Course Participants at the NATO Defense College in Rome. Her speech outlined the growing threat of transnational organised crime on global peace and security.

This marked the 17th time that Dr. Liang was invited to speak at the College. The Course participants included  military officers and government officials from over 30 countries including NATO members, PfP programme, The Istanbul Cooperation Initiative and global NATO partners as well as members of the NDC's Short Modular Course. Local Defense Attachés from Embassies in Rome and Representatives of the Holy See were also invited to attend her speech. In 2016, the NATO Defense College recently celebrated its 50th anniversary of its move to Rome and the 65th anniversary of its foundation.
