H.E. Mr Steven Vandeput, Minister of Defence of Belgium has visited GCSP on 12th October along with a delegation from the Defence Ministry.
The Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) Director, Ambassador Christian Dussey and Gen (RTD) Philippe Meyer briefed the delegation about GCSP's various activities and latest institutional developments, while Jean-Paul Rouiller and Tobias Vestner presented their fields of activities as respectively, Manager of the Terrorism and Joint Analysis Group (TJAG) and Cluster Leader of the Security and Law Programme.
The visit continued with the tour of the Centre, where the delegation had the opportunities to meet several staff and participants coming from Belgium, including two new participants who have recently joined the GCSP for the eight-month Leadership in International Security Course (LISC).
The meeting took place in a convivial atmosphere and both delegations agreed on the importance of executive education in these uncertain times.
