The LISC 2018/2019 welcomes 22 participants

This week the GCSP welcomed 22 new participants from 19 countries across the globe to the 8-month Leadership in International Security Course (LISC). This year, the course includes participants from Ghana and Niger for the first time.

These military officers, diplomats, members of academia, IOs, NGOs, civil society and the private sector have all come together to enhance their leadership capacity and to engage in critical decision-making to address the world’s most pressing security challenges.

The course emphasises the ‘GCSP Way’ of learning in which practitioners, academics and participants come together to share knowledge, to promote sustainable security solutions, and to work collaboratively across cultures, organisations and professional domains.

Through the LISC, participants also have the opportunity to undertake the Master of Advanced Studies in International and European Security (MAS), jointly run by the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and the Global Studies Institute (GSI) of the University of Geneva.

The GCSP warmly welcomes all of our new participants and looks forward to collaborating with them throughout the next eight-months!
