This week the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) launches its 21st edition of the European Security Course (ESC). For over two decades, this course has shined a spotlight on global challenges relative to Europe, assessing the inter-connectedness of transnational threats and responses.
Revue Militare Suisse (RMS) contributor and GSCP alum, David Humair, recalls memories from the 20th edition in an article that he penned for the December 2016 issue of the magazine.
“I had a chance to follow the ESC for two months back in February and March 2016,” said Humair, noting that the course was comprised of 20 people representing 18 different countries – including a representative from NATO. The real value-add was the diversity in perspective, which was very subtle and constructive.”
