Mr BOAHININ IANN FRANCK-MAXIME’S EPONON holds a master’s degree in Political and Diplomatic Communication and is currently in charge of the diplomatic Communication studies at the Division of Communication and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. Previously, he was the Head of the Political and Diplomatic Communication section of the (DAARA) Direction for Aid and Assistance to Refugees and Statelessness Persons. An expert in political and diplomatic communication, he was a member of the Ivorian delegation during the mandate of Côte d’Ivoire as non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council in New-York. Mr Eponon was also the author, Director and Secretary General of the redaction of the annual activities (2018-2019) book of the DAARA of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Côte d’Ivoire (a 44-page book related to international Protection of Refugees, Voluntary repatriation of Ivoirian refugees and the prevention and fight against statelessness), while regularly contributing to the Ivorian diplomatic magazine “Côte d’Ivoire Diplomatie”.
Mr Eponon was Master of Ceremony and Head of Communication of five editions (2015-2019) of the international Refugees days in Côte d’Ivoire with the collaboration of the United Nations Agency for Refugees (UNHCR). He is the founder and supervisor of the REPMA (Réseau des Professionnels de Médias pour la lutte contre l’Apatridie) - a network of about 150 Ivorian and African Journalists and Communicators – and of an annual price of the best Journalist for the fight against statelessness in Côte d’Ivoire.
