Eric Dagadu has been engaged extensively in project management and capacity development towards the promotion of good governance, peace and security in Africa over the past 10 years. In his last position as GIZ Regional Advisor to the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Eric supported the Centre to enhance regional capacities in conflict prevention and conflict management, including Peace Support Operations. In line with this role, he provided technical support in developing training courses, facilitating training courses and designing a development partner coordination mechanism. Eric was trained in communication studies and in this regard, he worked with the Ghana National Commission on Small Arms as a Communication Officer, with a main focus on public relations - where he supported a series of community engagement activities to combat the proliferation of small arms from 2011 to 2015. Eric has a keen interest in elections observation and has trained several election observers at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre in Accra. He also participated in numerous election observation missions in Africa, and one mission in the USA.
