Celine is a Policy and Strategic Planning expert with over 13 years of professional experience in international cooperation and multilateral governance. Her work focuses on conflict prevention, resolution and peacebuilding, with special emphasis on human rights, rule of law and inclusive governance. Celine has served with multiple United Nations entities both at New York Headquarters and in field locations. She contributed to joint programming, governance frameworks, UN reforms and organizational change with a view to foster inclusive peacebuilding, and a risk-mitigation and conflict sensitivity mindset. Most recently, she led the Strategic Planning Team in the Peace Missions Support Section of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and worked with the Policy Division of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations. Prior to her work at UN Headquarters, she served with UNICEF in the Middle East and the UN Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as well as with the Permanent Mission of France to the UN in NYC. Celine is currently on special leave, undertaking research, writing and training on peacebuilding, global emerging risks, leadership and behavioral science. She holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from SciencesPo Lyon, France, including international relations studies at Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, Washington DC, USA, as well as a Masters’ Degree in International Law and Administration from Paris-I Pantheon Sorbonne University, France. Her native language is French and she is fluent in English; she has an intermediate level in Spanish and Italian and knowledge of Arabic.
