Ms Céline Perren
Position(s) Independent consultant on legal risk management

Céline Vandenbussche Perren is an independent consultant on legal risk management for private sector companies and international NGOs. She is the former Senior Legal Advisor of MSF Switzerland. In this role, Celine developed a legal risk management framework to support MSF operations, designing practical training and legal solutions to help field teams fulfil MSF humanitarian and medical mandate in complex environments. She also provided support and guidance on HR and administrative matters, using her legal expertise as well as her field experience as a Human Resources and Finance Coordinator in Mozambique, Mexico, Niger, and Tunisia. Celine has many years of experience in business and international law. Prior to joining MSF, she worked as a tax advisor in law firms and in the private banking sector, and specialized in strategic tax planning for international clients. She was also a Research Assistant with the French Ministry of Defense and at UNIDIR, working on projects related to nuclear disarmament
and biological weapons regulations. Céline holds a Master of Sciences in Management and Business Law from HEC Paris, a postgraduate master’s degree in Disarmament and Arms Control Law from the University of Paris/ Marne-la-Vallée, and a Master of Advanced Studies in International Law in Armed Conflict from the Geneva Academy. Céline is a French and Swiss national and is fluent in English and French.
