Ugo Iduma is a self-motivated and result-driven entry-level security analyst with 2+ years’ progressive experience on Emerging Security Challenges and behaviours of territorial non-state actors. She has a sound nous and natural aptitude for trend mapping, intelligence gathering, and peace advocacy in Sub-Saharan Africa. She is positioned to succeed in challenging roles requiring strong cognitive skills and a desire to learn and grow in culturally diverse environments. She is commended for her exceptional ability to analyse and deconstruct complex security issues. Her Mediation, Conciliation, and project management certification also gives her excellent communication, team leadership, and interpersonal skills. Additionally, Ugo holds an International Master’s in Security, Intelligence and Strategic Studies at the University of Glasgow and a Bachelors in Policy and Strategic Studies from Covenant University. Ugo has worked at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies and the West African Network for Peacebuilding. She researched, monitored and reported emerging national security trends and fed threats into the National Early Warning Systems of ECOWARN. She currently serves as a Young Leader in Foreign and Security Policy Fellow with the Geneva Centre for Security Policy’s Global Fellowship Initiative.
