Giles is a British diplomat currently based in the UK. He has served in various diplomatic Posts overseas, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Mauritania, and Zimbabwe. He has also worked for the United Nations and the European External Action Service.
Giles is an alumnus of the 2023 New Issues in Security Course at the GCSP. He intends to use his time on the Global Fellowship Initiative to explore the concept of partnerships and to prepare for his next diplomatic role overseas.
