Henrik Larsen, PhD, is an Executive-in-Residence within the Global Fellowship Initiative of the GCSP and a Senior Researcher at the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at the ETH Zürich with a focus on NATO and Ukraine. He previously served as a Political Adviser with the EU Delegation to Ukraine and with the EU Advisory Mission Ukraine. He was previously a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, a Fellow with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and a Visiting Researcher at Stanford University. Henrik Larsen worked at the United Nations in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, at the École Militaire in Paris, and the Russia Department of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His articles have appeared in The Washington Quarterly, The RUSI Journal, Survival, European Security, and the Journal of Transatlantic Studies, and he has published analyses and op-eds in Foreign Policy, Lawfare, War on the Rocks, and Internationale Politik Quarterly, in addition to several think-tank publications. He speaks English, French, German, intermediate Russian, and Danish.
