Mr Marc-André Siegrist

Mr Marc-André Siegrist is an Executive-in-Residence within the Global Fellowship Initiative of the GCSP. Marc-André Siegrist is an economic development officer at the Department of Economic Development (DDE) - State and Canton of Geneva. In this capacity, he is in charge of intelligence, networks and data activities, including local stakeholders mapping, digital knowledge development for improved decisions and synergies creation between actors and initiatives. Simultaneously, as a GCSP fellow, he contributes to the creation of IDE4 Foundation, a social and technological initiative aiming to improve decision-making, promote human intelligence and facilitate collaboration through visual and data analytics. Marc-André has a background in security policy, military strategy and foresight. He co-authored the Geneva Security Strategy 2030 and previously worked as an intern in the Radiological and Nuclear Terrorism Prevention Unit at Interpol and in the Global Security Team at the Center for Security Studies, ETH Zürich. He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Geneva and a MA in Strategic Studies from RSIS, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His native language is French and he is fluent in English and Spanish.
