Lisa Larson is the Women in Peace and Security Fellow at GCSP, sharing her expertise in leadership development and participating in GCSP activities and research that contribute to the empowerment of women as a means to promote peace, security, and international cooperation. She is currently researching innovative means of fostering self-sustaining communities of practice for women leaders in contexts of vulnerability. Ms. Larson brings extensive international experience in leadership development to the GCSP. Since 2004, she has facilitated learning experiences and coached executives and managers from over 30 countries in Europe, North and South America and Africa in several different industries, --most notably finance, energy, telecommunications, IT, fintech, pharma, shipping, and automotive-- both in her private practice and in collaboration with leading executive development organizations. With a varied career as a consultant, manager, MBA program director, and business school faculty member, she brings multiple perspectives and hands on experience to her coaching, facilitation and program design work. She has been an associate of the top-ranked Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) for 15 years, and a collaborator of the NeuroCoaching Lab, incorporating the latest advances in neurosciences brain in support of the development emotional and social intelligence, for 6 years. Ms. Larson is certified as a professional coach by ICF-accredited Success Unlimited Network, and she was one of the founding members of the ICF Spanish chapter. Lisa is certified as well in the use of numerous coaching tools, solutions and assessments, which she regularly integrates into her practice. Although a native of the USA, she has lived in Spain for 30+ years. Ms. Larson holds an MBA from IESE Business School. Her working languages are English and Spanish.
