The vote is a unanimous one, and a decision that both Foundation Council President, Ambassador Jean-David Levitte, and GCSP Director, Ambassador Thomas Greminger, warmly welcome.

The GCSP has long-standing contact with Thailand in a number of areas. This includes welcoming Thai officials to GCSP’s advanced courses in Geneva, participation in GCSP’s virtual courses on emerging issues in security, and holding a workshop on strategic foresight in Bangkok in 2019. At present, the GCSP is developing closer ties with the National Security Council of Thailand to exchange perspectives on international security issues.
