The Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) is offering a 100% (full-time) position, to a professional in marketing, communications or digital and interest in international relations, politics, development or a related field (or possesses relevant vocational qualifications and project management experience). The MARCOM JPO reports overall to the Communications Director while under the direct supervision of the Head of Marketing. The MARCOM JPO works in close collaboration with colleagues in their department and in cooperation with colleagues in the Director’s Office, GCSP’s Departments, and in other support services, including the Departments of Administration, Finance, ICT, and Human Resources.

Missions
Customer Experience
- Manage and monitor the official customer email inbox
- Oversee and track Salesforce cases
- Identify recurring issues and trends from customers and propose improvements to processes
- Extract and export reports from Salesforce to support monitoring and performance tracking
- Prepare dashboards for internal stakeholders.
Marketing Support
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and risk
- Perform competition analysis and benchmarking
- Contribute to marketing strategy development based on data-driven insights
- Analyse data to generate insights on user performance metrics, and customer behavior
- Participate in regular meetings with selected departments to provide marketing and communications support and alignment.
Partnership Development and Fundraising Support
- Assist in identifying potential strategic partnership and funding opportunities
- Support outreach activities to prospective partners and donors
- Contribute to proposal and fundraising documentation
- Support tracking and monitoring of partnership and funding opportunities.
Additional Duties
- Makes suggestions for improvement; brings innovative ideas and creative thinking
- Ensure the brand is always respected and guidelines are followed
- Effectively promote synergies and ensure coordination and collaboration with other programmes, cluster areas and impact lines across the centre
- Support the Marketing & Communications Department in all aspects of the team’s work as required.
Required Education and Experience
- A university degree in an area related to communications, international security, law, social sciences, political science or business or public administration.
- Fluency in English and French spoken and written is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
- Proven work experience as a Communications Officer or similar role.
- Holder of a valid residency, or work permit in Geneva, or Swiss or EU national.
