Defence Attaché Community

The Worldwide Defence Attachés Support (WWDAS) platform is a platform specifically designed, and only accessible to, active Defence Attachés and Alumni of our GCSP Defence Attaché courses offered around the globe. Launched in November 2020, this platform can be described as a community of interest and could see itself evolve in the following months or years into a community of practice.

The aim of this platform is to support Defence Attachés in their daily tasks by offering practical tools and academic perspectives on a variety of different topics using short videos. This platform is complimentary to our courses and focuses on methodological aspects for the Defence Attaché. Our content covers several different avenues of security related topics including, but not limited to, Human Security, Global Security, Foresight.  We publish content on a monthly basis including a one-page summary of our videos. The content we produce remains removed from national affairs and approaches these different topics in an objective and neutral manner. Additionally, we regularly consult our members in order to develop a customer-orientated platform which efficiently responds to the needs of our members. This platform also aims to maintain contact with our alumni in an active manner.
