Geoeconomics and Economic Security

Building Business Resilience in a Fragmenting World

Tariffs announced overnight. Sanctions redrawing markets. Shipping routes disrupted by distant conflicts. Choices made in foreign capitals now ripple straight into boardrooms, and companies can no longer treat geopolitics as background noise. Staying ahead means anticipating disruption, absorbing it and adapting faster than competitors.

How well would your business withstand the next geopolitical shock?

The Geoeconomics & Economic Security Cluster turns knowledge into action. Drawing on economics, international relations, law, history and technology, we pair sound analytical frameworks with hands-on learning built around real cases, unfolding events and the concrete situations participants face in their own companies and institutions. The goal is to give them usable tools to map vulnerabilities, reduce exposure and keep operations running when the environment shifts.

Every industry carries its own risks. Energy, finance, commodities, logistics, pharmaceuticals and technology each depend on different resources, partners and routes. Our offer is therefore shaped sector by sector, which keeps discussions specific and directly applicable.

Above all, we create a space where the private and public sectors genuinely talk to each other. Executives gain first-hand understanding of how regulators, diplomats and policymakers think, and officials hear how their measures play out on the ground. Geneva is home to international diplomacy, global trading houses, banks and multilateral bodies, and here the GCSP provides neutral ground for this exchange. Through scenario exercises, interactive workshops and frank conversations, participants test ideas together and build lasting networks.

Your Challenges, Our Expertise!

We design executive courses, tailored workshops, crisis simulations and private-public roundtables for corporations, public institutions and international organisations. From stress-testing a supply chain to preparing a board for new export controls, we help teams strengthen resilience, protect what matters most and turn uncertainty into an edge.
