As we enter a new phase of global transformation, this discussion will bring together diplomats, policymakers, and scholars to reflect on the shifting architecture of international governance. We will focus on how emerging technologies, new geopolitical configurations, and evolving national strategies are reshaping the global order. This event also marks 75 years of Swiss–Chinese cooperation, a relationship that has long bridged East and West through dialogue, innovation, and diplomacy.
We are witnessing a global order that is undergoing profound transformation, from the rapid evolution of digital and artificial intelligence technologies to the emergence of new geopolitical alignments, states and institutions are being challenged to adapt to an increasingly complex and fluid strategic landscape.
The discussion will explore how the international community, both here in Geneva and abroad, can improve global governance in order to find better solutions to deal with this new era of escalating technological competition and declining multilateralism.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Geneva Security Debate that will offer an insightful discussion at the intersection of policy foresight and strategic governance.
