Keynote Address
Prof. Chung-in Moon
A former Special Adviser for National Security and Foreign Affairs to the President of the Republic of Korea, Prof. Moon has played a leading role in shaping policy dialogues on peace and security on the Korean Peninsula. He is Co-Convener and Vice Chair of the Asia-Pacific Leadership Network (APLN), former Chairman of the Sejong Institute, and currently James Laney Distinguished Professor at Yonsei University, Editor-in-Chief of Global Asia, and Visiting Fellow at Global Neighbours.

Margareta Wahlström
Margareta Wahlström is a globally recognized expert in humanitarian affairs and disaster risk reduction. She served as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Disaster Risk Reduction and as President of the Swedish Red Cross. With decades of experience in crisis response, sustainable development, and resilience-building, she has worked with governments and international organizations to strengthen global approaches to disaster preparedness and governance.
Prof. Thomas Biersteker
Prof. Biersteker is the Curt Gasteyger Professor Honoraire at the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Senior Fellow with the Centre for Policy Research of the UN University. A leading authority on international relations and global governance, he specializes in UN targeted sanctions, informal governance mechanisms, and institutional reform. He has advised the United Nations Security Council and governments worldwide, and co-developed the SanctionsApp, a policy tool for analyzing the effectiveness of sanctions.
