Dr Annita Larissa Sciacovelli
Annita Larissa Sciacovelli is an Associate Professor of International Law at the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy). She serves on the Advisory Board of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and is Co-Rapporteur of ENISA’s ad hoc group on the “NIS 2 Directive: Post-Implementation.”
She is also a member of the Defense Innovation Office under the Chief of Defense Staff of the Italian Ministry of Defense. Professor Sciacovelli lectures on international cybersecurity law at the Italian Institute for Advanced Defense Studies (IASD), the Italian School of Economic and Financial Police “Guardia di Finanza” in Rome, and the Cybersecurity Course organized by the Italian Cyber Police.
She sits on the Advisory Board of the International Institute for Peace in Vienna (Austria) and serves as Scientific Coordinator of the Center for International Legal Sciences and New Technologies at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio.
Professor Sciacovelli is Vice President of Global Professionals for Artificial Intelligence (GP4AI). In 2023, she was recognized as the “Professional Woman in Cybersecurity Europe 2023” in Paris by CEFCYS – Cercle des Femmes de la CyberSécurité, France. Recognized as a one of the leading voices in the field, Professor Sciacovelli is regularly invited speaker at major international conferences on cybersecurity, international law, and emerging technologies. She has published extensively on international and European cyber law.
